I want to put a SHO engine in my taurus. It's currently a 3.5
duratec 6spd with sportmode and awd. To me it looks like a
SHO alredy. Let me know thanks

Though it sounds easy enough, there are enough differences that it will require some custom work. You would need to swap the engine and transaxle, as the SHO used a beefier 6 spd. Without researching it further, you might have exhaust differences around the engine, use the wiring harnesses off the SHO engine and most probably a new ECM and that will need programming to work in your vehicle. Of course the gauge package would be different as well, the SHO uses twin turbos. But since you are asking the question, I assume you won't be performing the swap. So get a few quotes from some local garages to see if they have done it before and the cost. For the used parts and labor, you are going to be in the $5 to $10K range is my guess. The SHO also could have had the performance packages with upgrade gear ratio's and the larger brakes, suspension tuning and recalibrated power steering, which your vehicle doesn't. So good luck on your decision. I usually will tell others it's less cost effective and less headaches to actually buy the vehicle you want and sell your current one, than to do swaps and custom work.
