My step son's 86 Ford F-150 wont start. What could it be?

I have plenty of fire at the  coil, at the distributor, and the plugs. Have fuel reaching the spark plugs and can see trace amounts of gas on them when pulled. Motor turns over just fine.  Just won't start. Even with ether sprayed into intake makes absolutely no difference.
