Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1989 f150 4x4 5.0. we replaced a leaky fuel return line and truck was
running fine. it ran for about 5 min after repair and then acted like it ran out of
gas. now we an not get it to fire. We tried starting fluid and it runs on it, so I am
thinking fuel related. but when checking purge valve on fuel rail it does have
fuel... I am Stumped... Thanks for any advice.

Battery has a full charge and connections all good? Did you check proper fuel pressure? My info says, 35--45 psi, key on engine off. Key on, do you have voltage at fuel injector, red wire. You can use test lite to check for voltage. The voltage comes from eec power relay. The other wire at fuel injector should be ground, controlled by your computer. Are there any applicable trouble codes?
