Trying to start an 1989 Ford F150

So i bought this truck put a battery in it and a
starter in it and the engine wants to start up but its
not getting enough power i guess need some
advice i dont know what's wrong (it's got a 302
5.0L engine, and it's manual)

that is a great truck, well could . be many things old gas? does it have Points or Elc distributor ? you need to find out if it is getting spark? pull number 1 plug wire, lay it near the plug have someone turn it over and look for a spark if you get a spark then I would check the gas? or fuel punp,

There is really old gas in it right now I'll switch that soon amd try again thank you for the advice
