1983 ford ranger 2.8L v6

I was going home from work my truck was
running just fine and everything els I
stopped at store to get a drink came back
out and the truck would only turn over but
wouldn't start I pulled one of the plugs and
checked for spark and there was no spark
at all so I replace coil pack and checked
my points and i still get nothing what could
my problem do

Agree with tennishoes, as a former owner of a 1984 Ranger 2.8 4x4 I can tell you either the ignition module or the ignition switch are the likely failure points. Other issues can also lead to a no spark condition.
