1988 chevy s10 2.5l V6

Have spark and gas to the carb but still wont start. but can pour gas into the
carb and will fire up. what can be the problem

carb. or TBI ? Does it stay running once you get it going ? Look down the CARB. engine off ! and accelerate by hand there should be a squirt of gas from the side of the barrel , thats the accelerator pump ,once it's running a good flow of gas should be pouring into the barrel . you may need a rebuilt carb. don't buy rebuilt crap from auto zoo I don't think anybody can even spell carburetor these days .. When you hit the key do you hear the fuel pump prime the system ? (WHIIRRIR) on the TBI ? There may be 2 fuel pump relays or check the fuel pump for power and a good ground .

thank you for responding back. No there isn't no gas squirting from the side of the carb. But the fuel pump is coming on and everything
