Is their a certain way to bleed brakes on a 1988 Chevy s10 pickup with a 4.3L v6 proportioning valve, master cylinder, anything that's not just basic ?

Rr, lr, fr, lf I've got no change there's nothing to the pedal.
Then either your not bleeding it right, which you probably are. Or there is a failed component. No leaks anywhere? The master cylinder can blow the seal in between the camber and give no pedal feel. Usually early signs of this is a gradual sinking pedal when even force is applied to the pedal. Results in the vehicle to start rolling until you pump the brakes. Also check the brakes hoses and make sure one isn't balloning
