Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My girl friend hooked up jumper cables

which has the4.3 liter engine. Now every
thing is totally dead no power to anything.
Could you please help me?

I would take the battery out and have it charged and tested, replace it if it is bad. Clean the battery terminals and cable ends while you are at it. Hopefully no damage was done to your electrical system but start by checking out the battery.

that will burn stuff out- just find what it is- a fusible link? a computer? I always advise to throw away the jumper cables because of these results- now that the cat is out of the bag, well, good luck-
