BMW 650ix

Asked by GuruN53NX Oct 14, 2019 at 03:53 PM about the 2014 BMW 6 Series 650i xDrive Coupe AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My drivetrain malfunction light came on.   restarted the car and have not seen
it again..Brought Bmw to dealer because I have a drivetrain extended warranty
because the replaced engine under warranty with the upgraded engine.
intercoolers don't go bad very often, my question fs the old intercoolers were
put back on my new upgraded engine.  can they be used.  my car has 39000
miles and feel I'm being ripped off by the dealer.

1 Answer

Unless the intercooler is physically damaged or has a leak it can be used.
