I will assume you have power windows and the driver's side window no longer functions. If that is the case, you probably need a new window motor. Pretty cheap ($25-$50) but you will need to disassemble the door panel to get to it. If you are not handy with tools and fasteners, let a shop do it. Probable cost would be about $200.
