I would want a budget of at least 50 grand before starting such a project. If you want a lot of power use a big block Chevy engine.

I've been wondering pretty much the same thing. Love Transams to death but always thought they weren't made Powerful enough to my liking so was thinking about just buying a nice and straight and rust free Transam body and putting in a Corvette Engine with High Horsepower and High Torque and High Output in general. Just recently was wondering if the Hellcat Engine would work as well. Basically which Engine would fit into the Transam Engine Bay that would literally give me one of the Fastest Transams in the World ??? Hmm......... Decisions Decisions.
