Truck hard to stear

My dodge dakota is hard to stear when i try to turn
left or right it feels like i have no power stearing i
replaced the power stearing pump the whole front
end but still does it can someone please give me
some advice you can email me at

I just got done fixing that same issue on my 2000 4x4. I fixed it by putting another rack and pinion in it. Steering in it had gotten so hard, it started causing play in the steering because I guess it was stretching out the joint on the end of the steering shaft. Had to replace that too. Hope that helps.
