How to replace leaking axle seal on 2014 ford explorer

Asked by Guru84JM May 01, 2017 at 06:09 PM about the 2014 Ford Explorer Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my explorer in to a service shop and they say the LH axle seal is leaking
where the cv half shaft goes into the tranny.
How do I replace this and what would the part be called that I need to
purchase? Is there a repair kit or do I need to buy a new half shaft and seal and
everything?
