I have a 2014 Ford Escape 4Cyl Eco Boost with Automatic 4 Wheel Drive. If I need tire chains do I put on 4 or just 2 on the front or rear tires?

I have a 2014 Ford Escape 4Cyl Eco Boost with Automatic 4 Wheel Drive.  If I need tire chains do I put on 4 or just 2 on the front or rear tires?  Tire shops don't know.  The Ford manual is mute on the topic.  Anyone out there know????????

On page 252 of my manual for my 2014 Titanium 4WD. If tire are 235/50R18 or 235/45R19 DO NOT use chains or cables. If tire is 235/55R17 use only 10mm cables on the front.
