Is it worth trading

Asked by Joshua Dec 16, 2016 at 08:12 AM about the 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX Base

Question type: General

I currently have a 2007 subaru impreza 2.5i
with 146k miles and a guy with a 2004 wrx said
he'd trade. He has sti headers, 3 inch exhaust,
80k on a swap with 140k on the body, has rims
and a vf39 turbo as well as stock turbo. The
only problem with is is the slave cylinder is bad
so idk if it would be worth trading or not. I want
something that's turbod and don't have the
money for a new car.

You would be trading reliabilty for fun- if you don't mind walking occasionally or you own a bicycle, go for the fun-

He is probably tired of fixing his hotrod and wants something that will get him to work on time.

Ha! All funny...and valid...responses! The slave is a piece of cake, so don't confuse the decision with this red herring. The WRX is clearly a toy for slingshotting around at speed, as your '07 2.5i is faster as an urban guerilla. You'll many more cops with the WRX too.
