Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi , my 2005 my06 Subaru WRX makes a
tapping/ticking noise in engine ,sounds like the
noise is coming from underneath the top mount
intercooler . Going up steep hills the noise is really
loud and Oil light comes on only when I'm on a hill .
Had the timing belt , tensioner done a week ago ,
still don't know what it is ,

Be absolutely sure the cams were calibrated correctly when a new belt was swapped in. If so, then i fear you have a bottom end noise...probably rod knock. But the oil light biz is puzzling....
