Motor swap

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Subaru Impreza wrx with a blown motor I’m
pretty sure it ether threw a rod or parts of the old turbo
got sucked into the motor before I changed the turbo I
need to know where to get the cheapest motor for it or
what motors will fit in my car plz help!!! Lol

Sigh.... The 'cheapest motor'. Careful, you can probably find an engine from a wreck for 'cheap'. It is a lot of work to install an engine, I would recommend finding a low mileage or rebuilt engine with a warranty. I learned a long time age: "There's never seems to be enough money to fix it right the first time, but always enough money to fix it again".

What motors would fit my car I know it’s a 2.5l but the wrx motors are crazy expensive

I would look at crate engines from WRX specialists.
