Looking at getting a suburban in the next couple of
months. Trying to decide what year model we
want. Looking at the 14's and 15's. Electronics do
not interest me. I just want something that is going
to hold up like 04 I had did. 350000 miles and
electrical problems were finally the death of it.any
suggestions on the best year model

I replaced my 04 with a 2015 Yukon XL. Here's what failed so far (mostly out of warranty, 60k miles): steering gear steering rack steering electric motor (don't drive thru deep puddles) GPS OnStar GPS display AC control and, you get to deal with 15% less cargo capability due to the ridiculous downward-sloping cargo bed. Oh yeah, don't put groceries in back if you don't want them to fall out.
