My 2001 crown victoria police interceptor won't rev up
I took my car to get a oil change,
then later i noticed my oil pressure
gauge was dropping with a small
tapping noise but it only jumped
around after 15 mins of driving but
once at a stop or slow down it start
to jump from normal to low, but
once i hit the gas it goes back up to
normal. So i was just going to finish
what i had to do and park it but
when on my way home i was pulling
out a parking lot then a car came
flying around the corner running the
stop sign so to avoid getting hit i
pressed the gas and my car took off
fast and hit every gear perfectly but
when i let go off the car it started to
feel like it died but it was still
running, when i tried to press the
gas it wasn't doing anything it
wasn't even making a noise or rev
up. But i notice when i rest my foot
on the accelerator it accelerate a
little but anything part like half a
inch it won't do anything but run.
Now it not tapping hard it runs the
same but just won't rev up now i
know i have to replace the oil pump
but what's stopping my baby from
accelerating PLEASE PLEASE
PLEASE HELP ME SAVE MY CAR IT
HAS 150,004 MILES
