Hello I bought a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria CVPI for a parts car and purchased a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria CVPI with a bad transmission, I was wondering if the transmission from the 2001 will go in the 2002? Thanks

It should, compare the pan shape, electrical connections, any mechanical cables, and lengh from the edgr of the bell(front) to the edge of the tail housing
Yes. There's no difference between the two. Be sure to change the Front Pump seal before you go back together - it's cheap insurance that you won't have to pull it twice.
