My tranny went out and i have looked and
cant find a cheap one near me or in my
budget. I am wondering does it have to be
for the same vehical or could i use a 2000
tranny police pakeage as well?

Needs to be similar year as they went more electronic in somewhere around 2003 or 2004.

Crown Vics have codes on the Transmissions you need to match those if they match the same number still work if not they will not work
