will a 2008 grand marquis transmission work in a 2008 crown vic police interceptor?

The police interceptor transmission is beefed up for the interceptor package, it will probably work as it is the same year but don’t look for it to last as it will not be setup for the interceptor calibration. The best thing would be to have the stock transmission rebuilt with interceptor parts.
