Will 2005 Five Hundred wheels work on my 2008 Crown Victoria?
Asked by sl0j0n Dec 28, 2016 at 10:25 PM about the 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor
Question type: Car Customization
I have a '08 Crown Victoria [PI] w/ 17" stock steel wheels.
I also have a '05 Five Hundred w/ the stock aluminum mag wheels.
My wife *hates* the '08 black wheels, so I want to know if the 500 wheels will
fit the Crown Vic. [ & vice versa, too.]

The 500's stock size is a 5x4.5 (5x114.3) bolt pattern with 40mm pos. offset. The CV has the same bolt pattern with a higher pos. offset. So should work. Shame though, CVPIs have really nice steel rims, a lot of people want them, plus they can take a LOT of punishment. Keep them, cuz after your alum. rims start leaking after hitting some potholes you might want to switch back lol.
If somebody is selling a 2008 police interceptor Crown Victoria for $1,000 do you think that is too good to be true
They may be asking a low price due to condition of the car - a used police cruiser is going to have some abuse. PS: You may want to start your own thread to ask this question.
