Will my 2010 transmission swap to my 2007 Crown Victoria?

Asked by Caleb Jan 02, 2021 at 02:11 PM about the 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

Question type: Car Customization

I have a wrecked 2010 cvpi p7b with a good
motor and trans and a 2007 cvpi p71 with a
bad trans. I was wondering what needs to be
done for this to work.

When my 2005 cvpi tranny lost reverse I looked everywhere for a replacement tranny, Most of the people I called told me to jack up the car and look on the side of the tranny, there should be a card shape tag,, the #'s on it is whats in your car, with those #'s you can search other years that probably have the same #'s as ur vehicle,, There are 12 different transmissions that went in my car and wouldn't you know my tranny #'s are the rarest of all 12, I had to drive to to long island to buy it. I hope this helps you out,

It all depends if the tranny tag #'s on both vehicles, If they match then your good to go..
