Small round button on driver side floor wouldnt notice it unless you were looking down there real good what could it be car was a police car and taxi at one point

most police cars have an electronic release on the shotgun rack. most officers put the button for the release in a place where they only know where to find it. for safety purposes of course. maybe that's what it was.
