Hello, first, I'd suggest you check the unit isn't in protect mode. If you checked and it isn't in protect mode then you should check the fuses. Most car radios have one or two fuses, one will be located in your vehicles main or accessory fuse block and will be labeled in an obvious manner. After that check if the pigtail connector is seated properly in the head unit and check for power at the head unit. You also want to verify your head unit has a good ground. If you did all of this and still have no good results, let me know and also if you need more help.

Also for the car windows, it is likely to be a popped fuse. Turn the key into the run position but don't start it. Once you did that, push the window button up or down whichever position it is in. If the window doesn't go up or down, it is because you have a popped fuse.

I have a LTD crown vic.1985, and I took the door cover's off and took a grinder, grind three dimples off and disconnect the wire to motor and pull out the motor , now only undo three screws off the round shaft that makes the window go up-down. clean area and take 7/16 lock nuts in the three point area and put sprocket back together but make sure you put new grease in and don't have to pack it but use enough so the motor works well and reassemble and make sure to put grease on the brass connecters of the switch so you get a good electric flow going to the switch because electric will find other ways to go to ! I hope this helps you !
