What gear for snow?

Asked by SunnyShine Nov 30, 2016 at 12:48 PM about the 2014 Audi Q7 3.0T quattro Premium Plus AWD

Question type: General

Hello, I just bought a clean 2014 Q7 and noticed there is no High/Low gear,
but there is a "S".  When it snows, am I supposed to put it in S or keep it in
Drive "D" and just drive slower?  :-D

Driving slower is wise in snow. I would keep the speed down to no more than 35 or less depending on how slippery things are. Read the owners manual for instructions on how to use the gear shift.
