Does Cargurus back up a sold car that demonstrated warped front brake rotors>

Asked by Guru991Y1J Oct 11, 2020 at 12:18 AM about the 2014 Audi Q7 3.0 TDI quattro Premium Plus AWD

Question type: General

During first highway stop at tollbooth, noticed brake pedal and steering
wheel
started a pulsation as feedback. I know that means the brakes had been
overheated, and a warped rotor results.

I was told the dealer keeps any profit over wholesale value when going thru
CarGurus.  I drove car locally but did not realize potential for brake pulsation
at highway speeds.  Test was only local..  On drive home noticed braking for
first toll booth had pulsed in brake pedal and steering wheel.---Warped front
rotors. Bought at 4pm today Sat. 20-20-20 200 miles driving to bring it back,
so ordered rotors $153. online evening of purchase.

Prior to going to the dealer I contacted Cargurus and asked about the fees you charge when a vehicle sells. Because I have cars I want to sell with a fleet of over 40. I was told by Cargurus the dealer only gets wholesale and the $ over goes to Cargurus. Eas that a false answer. How can I setup my company to sell thru Cargurus and what are your fees?

Use the Dealer Signup link to set up an account. This is a public forum but I can say that no dealer would use CG's if all they got was wholesale with all the profit going to CG's.

If you shop cars like I do you will see the same cars on CG's, Cars.com, AutoTrader etc etc. They can't all keep the profit from selling the car. If all the profit was going to CG's then dealers would simply sell everything at wholesale and stiff CG's. Contact them for their dealer fee schedule.
