Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay here we go 2006 Envoy Denali
with a 5.3 runs for about 40 minutes
then shuts off I cannot start it again
until it cools down I've changed my fuel
pump, crank sensor, cam sensor, my
ECT sensor, my ignition switch, my map
sensor, all on top of a new
transmission, I'm really asking for
somebody to give me an answer on
what the heck is going on with this
vehicle.

The only time I've ever ran into a similar problem was caused by the ignition pack overheating ,, than when it cooled off it would start.... long shot answer so if you can locate that module at a salvage yard then you won't be out and arm-leg if It's something else

Gentleman!!! Yes I keep getting the 1682 "driver 5 line 2" and the check engine light with the lightning bolt, right before it shuts down,
