Get another quote. That is very high. The parts cost is probably less than $40.

Do it yourself, it's right above the oil filter on the I6 engine.

wow dude yeah im doing mine now its not that hard but youll need 1 1/16 socket deep well to fit around the sensor when remove/replacing its not a bad job 1hr max

Took me 15 mins to replace oil pressure sensor on my 2005 Envoy XUV SLT. Drivers side, backside of motor(top). A $550 quote is robbery.
