Why is the engine light on and why do I have a slow start with low RPM.

Asked by Arlene Feb 21, 2017 at 07:04 PM about the 2006 GMC Envoy SLE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got it out of the shop today.  The shop changed fuel pump/module and
ignition switch.  Engine light on. Took it back. They put the ode reader on it
and got a code 0147 but was scrambled. They got the light to go off.  Now
the ow engine light stays on again, (3 hours later) and I have a slow start
like not enough voltage and RPM is low??? When I drive it the first time the
engine could be heard.  The next time, the engine was so low I could hear
nothing.  I checked the RPM and it was on the very low side of the RPM.  I
can be reached at agautier1@cox.net....Thank you...

P0147 is 02 sensor bank 1 sensor 3. The I6 engine doesn't have 3 sensors. Do you have the V8?
