can I add synthetic Dexron vi to dexron vi with a drop and fill?

No, You should not. just use the non-synthetic DEXRON VI and a proper funnel to refill the Transmission. you do not want transmission fluid spillage on engine or exhaust manifolds. thanks.

I assume you're going to drop the tranny pan and replace the filter . The torque converter will still have the old fluid in it and I've heard the full flush may not be good . If the fluid is nice and pink I wouldn't worry about it but if you insist go ahead with it . Is there a problem you're having with the tranny ?
