Rear air springs started to leak and now the compressor has failed. I want to scrap that system and install the regular coil springs. Do I have to buy special springs or will the regular OEM ones work?

I just replaced the old leaking air bags with regular Envoy springs and am very happy with it. It sits a little higher in the back and the ride is more firm but I like it this way. I pull a trailer now and then which I was worried about it sagging but the springs hold up just fine even with a heavy load. Cheap and effective repair. The standard springs drop in after you quarter twist the old air bags out. 2 beer job and pretty cheap to have a shop take care of it for you.
Look online at a company called strutmasters. they offer a lot of air ride elimination parts. Should also offer a bypass chip for the light on the dash(if there is one). Also come with detailed instructions to walk you through the procedure.
