50,000 miles is the interval that is typically recommended.

Your dealer may tell you it is "lifetime" but with a CVT life can be short.

I drain and refill ALL Subie automatic transmissions I buy, which now span 2011-2014 models. I'm suggesting to my clients to look at their chariots holistically every four years, wherein swapping out the CVT fluid is combined with new iridium plugs, and perhaps coincidentally with fresh tires and brake rotors as that's their median lifespans too. Since the CVTs failures are more clustered around 2010-2012 we're still not sure if advancements in '13+ are simply more robust, or whether time is the predominant determinant. I have a pair of '14 OB Ltds for sale now, and also strongly suggest using Mobil1 5w30 synth instead of the watery 0w20 recommended to prevent timing chain chatter in winter startups. That said, the iridiums seem to be lasting a VERY long time, so I wouldn't sweat them just yet, and refreshing the CVT fluid at this 3+yr mark is perhaps prudent, but not critical. I am hoping that keeping CVT fluid clean correlates with reducing CVT failure incidence, but since such failures involve failed torque converters or noisy inner bearings, I hope I'm not just suggesting that people keep their socks clean when the real problems are broken ankles and heels. We'll see. In the meantime I'm avoiding 2010 model year Subies like the plague....
