Asked by Jason Aug 19, 2017 at 04:30 PM about the 2014 Kia Optima EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

what other car brands and or parts are compatible with a 2014 kia optima ex I
would need a power brake booster and a brake master cylinder also interior
and exterior parts and or accessible

I do not recommend used brake parts. Safety is important and aftermarket brake parts are not very expensive. As far as interior parts you obviously need the exact same car for a donor.

I agree, never use, used brake parts. Many junkyards will not sell the brake components for liability reasons. 2014 and you are replacing the brake booster??? This is why I tell people not to buy Kia and Hyundai. :(.

Just order the correct one for your car at the auto parts store. Buying one for a different car is a waste of money when it is easier to buy the correct one.

Not sure why you want a compatible new part when Kia and Hyundai are cheap parts anyway. I have co- workers that have me fix their Hyundai and Kia vehicles. The parts are not expensive.
