I have a 2008 Kia Optima. I had a service problem on Sunday so I took it to a local Goodyear service center. KIA dealer service dept closed. Can I get reimbursed for the parts?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Since my car problem was on a Sunday, I had to baby it to a car repair place and not the dealer service department which was closed anyway.
Can I get reimbursed for the parts charged to me from KIA since I had to get car repaired close to where it broke down?

Only if KIA authorized the repairs prior to you having the work done, which I'm sure they didn't do... being closed and all. Bad deal for sure but you should be aware that having work done by non-approved repair centers can not only be costly, they can void your warranty. Next time, it may be better to wait on KIA. Sorry for the bad news.
