I used a key I had made and it worked until I used it to unlock the door now my ignition is locked up. I have a 2008 kia optima. is there a way to reset it so it will unlock?

My daughter had an extra key made and I used it all day and then had to lock the car. I used the key to unlock the car door, but now the ignition is locked up and I can't get even the original key to work. What can I do?

Try rocking the steering wheel really hard while turning the key
