I just bought a 2000 corvette 6 speed and it will roll on a steep grade in first gear. The cylinder compression is between 170-180psi and the clutch is holding firm, not slipping. Is this normal for an LS1 6 speed?
The car has 79,000 miles and is in great shape. The car was a one owner and driven most of the year in southern Ohio. Except for the heater fan making a little noise and the brakes needing changed this is the only concern I have. Engine is strong and runs very smooth and no smoke even under heavy acceleration.
