Certified is just an extended warranty added onto a car which you pay for with a higher car price. You will save money on car registration by buying a warranty AFTER you buy the car.

Disagree, CPO (certified pre owned) can be a great deal and many times the extended warranty only adds about a thousand bucks to the price, plus it is supported and sponsored by the manufacturer. Aftermarket warranties can be hit or miss depending on which company you select. Buying an extended manufacturers warranty after the sale can be more expensive also.
