Air conditioning / serpentine belt repair grinding after repair

I have my air conditioning belt which turned out to
be the serpentine belt on my 2014 Ford focus
replace. After this repair was done my car is
grinding upon acceleration please.I have to add
that I was in an accident and it bent the two wheels
that the belt wraps around for the air conditioning.
The mechanic unbent it. I don't know if it's rubbing
on something or what.. I have to take the car back
to him I'd like to get some idea as to what is wrong
before he starts tinkering
