2014 Ford Focus beeping when engine and battery shut off and driver's door open.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I went to my car today and when I opened the door, it was beeping. This was
before I put the key into the ignition. All of my lights are turned off. It makes
the sound as if I had left the keys in the ignition. It only beeps with the
driver's door opening. It does not beep when it is closed. I got a warning that
I should get my oil changed soon, but that makes a different beeping for
about 3 seconds after I've turned on the engine. This beeping is continuous
until I close the door. What could be causing this beeping and how could I fix
it?

tap the ignition switch with your fingers to see if it stops beeping while the door is open. you might have a bad switch

I just went out to check if that would fix it and it didn't seem to do anything. Thanks for the advice though! I tried messing with the headlights and it seemed to have gone to the parking light position. I switched it to the "O" off position and it does not beep anymore. I feel like I've had it in that second position since it was sold to me thinking it was the automatic switch, so I'm wondering why it just started beeping now (almost 1 year after I got the car).

That is not my picture, btw. I got it off of Google, but it is identical to my switch.
That will do it but you mentioned when you posted the question that the lights were turned off

They seemed to be off, especially since from the outside they were not on and it seemed unusual for them to turn on without me turning them on. I'm guessing my knee turned the knob without me noticing.
I have a Ford focus 1.6 climate and when I turn my car on the battery and oil and engine light come on then go off then while driving there's an long beep sound then goes off then repeats. Please help.
