how to reset EVIC so it won't keep saying: change the oil

Turn the ignition switch to ON with the engine off, then press the gas pedal all the way down 3 times.

Hi Dorian, try this site: http://carhowto.com/how-to-reset-oil-life-light-on-jeep-grand-cherokee/ That site also has a pretty handy app, great if the light goes off while you're out and about. Anyway, I hope it helps.
