Low tire pressure light

Asked by Gette Jun 24, 2018 at 12:36 AM about the 2014 Dodge Avenger SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Went to get oil changed today and everything fine
when I left shop but later when I got into my car
the low tire pressure light was on. Checked all four
tires and they are good. Why would the low tire
pressure light come on if nothing is wrong with
tires.

start when tires are cold, check pressures, inflate to where they should be and take for a drive, they should reset. Do not disconnect the battery

Could have too much air in it as well most of the tpms sensor have a range in which they will stay off, go over or under and the light comes on

I have a 2009 Dodge Avenger with the same problem. Did you ever find a solution?

Mine is going off when I’m low on oil for some weird reason no one can explain. Not the oil light just the tire sensor light and goes off when add more oil ‍♀️
