I just left from getting my oil changed and on the way home my check engine light came on and when I punch the gas or try to pick up speed it's like my car starts to fail and the the car will slow dow

Stop and check the oil level. Maybe they forgot to put oil in it. If it is out of oil you will have to document it so that they will pay for a new engine.
