just had my oil changed and now the car is riding hard.Got a message saying wrong oil but i know its the correct one.What could be the problem

after getting the oil change i notice the difference on how the car ran.This time
we used full synthetic instead of regular.Could that be the reason? my car has
166k

Yes some synthetic oils do not mix with petroleum oils, some do. But I had done this also with the same amount of miles with a synthetic oil (Amsoil) that does mix with petroleum base oil as there is some left in the motor when draining. It didn't work out good. I figure that it was too may miles to change over. Built a new motor and running on Amsoil as it is a good synthetic oil...
