Trunk unlatch not always working.

My 2014 Chrysler 300 after going through a Car Wash that does underbody
wash will not unlatch the trunk for at least a day after doing this. It sounds
like the voltage is dropping to the latch as you press the button the click of
the latch gets weaker and finally stops. and then in a day or so it works
again. i've lubed it with moisture dispersing lube but still the same. We have
a heavy ribbon material tied  to the trunk Emergency Escape handle so we
do not have to crawl in the trunk.
