Roughly about 5 hours. But there is more to it than just part replacement. The TEHCM needs to be programmed to match the vehicles VIN and after the initial road test the fluid levels need to be rechecked. I’m concerned that this may not be the whole problem as the transmissions on these seem to be a weak point so you may wind up needing the whole thing overhauled.

The duration of a repair depends on the nature of the issue. Minor repairs might take a few hours, while more complex ones can take a few days. If your car needs towing, we offer prompt and efficient towing services to ensure your vehicle reaches the repair shop quickly, minimizing downtime. On a 10 year old vehicle it could take a few weeks. It took 8 weeks for the Dealer to fix my Niece's 2016 Malibu transmission, under warranty, and the car was less than a year old. Jim
