2014 Chevy Equinox "bouncing" when stopped with brakes applied.

The car "bounces" when the brakes are fully engaged and the vehicle is at a
complete stop. No warning lights, engine idle stable. The vehicle doesn't move
but it feels like the brakes are being applied repeatedly.

Nope. It does it when I am at a complete stop and only after being stopped for 15-20 seconds.

My daughter was playing "big splash" with the car (running through big puddles) just before it started so I expect it may be a moisture problem. It is weird because it does not set off any dashboard warning lights Thanks to FOR and Ed92626 for the feedback.
