Recharging my ac unit

I have a 2014 jeep cherokee limited and it needs to
be recharged, is there a way to do it myself or is it
only doable by jeep dealership?  (Trying to save
myself some money...)

Well we tried buying a can and my boyfriend couldn't find the part where you insert the can tip at, and when I asked jeep dealership they claim we can only recharge at their shop because of a closed system, but I literally just watched a video of a 2014 jeep cherokee latitude being recharged, now how come they can be done by owners but my same year different trim cant? It's very frustrating!

There's NOTHING that says anything about air conditioning and that link doesn't work....

That link also pulls up for a jeep cherokee latitude I don't think my LIMITED has a port to recharge.
