Odometer

I just had this happen to me. I was told that the steering column control module failed and it would be $650+ to repair.
Mine is doing this currently. I have a 2019 jeep cherokee. Started when I got it at 7miles, still doing it at 715miles. Took it back and asked why it's doing this. They had no idea and checking it Thursday evening.
Happening to my 2019 jeep cherokee 4000 miles have been back and forth to the dealer for 2 months still not fixed their telling me its a forward collision camera problem we are on the 3rd camera now so I truly dount its the camera
Could be as simple as a blown fuse. I had to pull a fuse and accidentally inserted it into an open slot. My odometer flashed until i figured that out and moved the fuse to the correct slot. I have a '15 Cherokee Trailhawk. I have no idea what the driver door control panel has to do with the odometer but it caused it to flash when removed. My guess any fuse that affects a computer will cause a data sync error that caused the flashing.
Athena did you ever find out what caused this?
Technician needs to run a PROXI configuration alignment through their scan tool. It's a pretty painless procedure.
I have a 2014 Cherokee trail hawk with 235,000 miles. It has happened several times. First time the shop said something about a fuse module. Had less than 5,000 miles on it then. Had it in shop a couple more times for same thing, but I’m just guessing they reset whatever was wrong. Also if wipers won’t turn off or light issue, was told to disconnect the ground battery terminal for 10 minutes

I have a 2019 Trailhawk with 7000 miles. Working fine until today turned off motor. When I stated back up, the odometer flashes,AC controls inoperable, radio controls inoperable, start-stop function inoperable. Nothing mentioned in manual about this condition. I have to drive home 730 miles hopefully it doesn’t cause the vehicle to completely shut down. Will be interesting to see what service tells me. Seems to cause erratic failures from reading other folks reply’s with same condition.
